System preferences won't let me unlock

My mac won't allow me to screen share during zoom. When I try to unlock my system preferences it says my password is wrong, but it's the password I always log in with.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

The upcoming macOS 11.2 update includes a fix for this bug... it is pending but no exact date, it has to be close.
