PLEASE HELP THIS GRAMMIE!

I cannot double click on the side to confirm app purchases. I was messing with my phone settings and now when I try to double click the side it says AssistiveTouch is turned off, I don’t know what this AssistiveTouch is I’ve never used it as far as I know but I’m not tech savvy. Ideas???
