My google app disappeared from my iphone. When I go into the app store and try to download it again. I get an option to open the google app. I want to download it on my phone so I can use it easily. This option is gone? Any help? I have a XR and updated software and used google everyday.
The directions that I've gotten do not work. Help.

With iOS 14, apps it can be removed from the home screen without being deleted. If you have iOS 14, go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.
