Touch ID

My Touch ID is not working. I got my MacBook Pro a little under a month ago and it stopped working after the initial couple of uses. I tried restarting the laptop and deleted my fingerprint, but now I can't add new fingerprint.

If this is a Intel Mac—(does not apply to the SoC M1 Macs)

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
