Adding Sam’s Club membership to Apple Wallet

I am unable to add my Sam’s Club membership card to Apple wallet. I keep getting an error when I visit the vendor website. Anyone else having issues with this or have a solution? Thanks!

It only allows me to add credit, transit, and ID cards. The card IS compatible. I tapped the add to Apple wallet button in the email and I get the message "Unable to add card". Apple Wallet I cant seem to find a way to add my store LOYALTY CARDS (ie. the key cards with you member numbers) to the Apple Wallet. I have seen a number of threads online suggesting to simply click 'add card'...but that is to add a Credit/Debit card. Any guidance pls? I have been using Google Wallet and this sort of thing is sooo straight fwd.
