Fileshare, filetransfer from Ipad air 3 to an Iphone 12

Hi, I recently upgraded my Iphone 8 to a Iphone 12, and did a safety backup in both Icloud and on my Mac, beforehand. After transferring files and apps to my new Iphone I discover the content from one of my apps, is empty only the shell was on the new phone, I did similar exercise from an old Ipad to a new Air... without any issues... The company from where I bought the app, doesnt reply anymore.

So my question is, how can I fileshare the full content af an app, from my Ipad Air to my Iphone 12? Is it possible and how?

If this data was saved into an iCloud back up, you have the option to restore your iPhone from that back or a backup of your iPad Air that has the content. If the content isn't saved in the backup, you'll need to reach out to the developer of the app for alternative options. How to contact an app developer
