i am not able to make conference calls (merge calls) with my iphone 12 pro. Before i had done with my iphone x. So its not an issue related to network provider and previously in iPhone X i had switched of the VoLTE and it worked but there is no such option in iPhone 12

SMS, MMS, WiFi Call, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, Voice Mail (Visual or Normal) all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency who issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
