Do Not Disturb function

I have set the “Do Not Disturb” time based function for the hours that I sleep. As far as I can determine this eliminates alerts for everything. However, there are certain there are certain things I would still like to be alerted for. Weather warnings, safety or emergency alerts from local authorities, possibly Amber or Silver alerts (though I don’t know what I’d do about them in bed).

is there a way to be selective on what alerts are muted and which aren’t?

Currently, Selective Do Not Disturb is not possible however it is a good recommendation. Furthermore, if you want to suggest this feature to Apple then please leave feedback here ➔ Product Feedback - Apple
