Photos and videos not loading

The first half of my camera roll (videos + pictures) are not loading. I have cleared space/storage, and have changed my settings for my photos from “Optimize iPhone Storage” to “Download and Keep Originals” but still nothing. It continues to tell me that my photos and videos won’t load because of an error that occurred while trying to download a higher quality version. I don’t even know what that means. Someone help me please!

what if it does not let me upload on files my phone was almost running out of storage when i took those pictures. it worked and it was fine when i took the picture. once taken the picture i checked my camera roll, they were just grey saying “unable to upload”. i’ve tried the method you recommended but which was uploading them to files, BUT i couldn’t even do that l. need some help, please i really need those pictures 😭😭

Photos won't load on iPhone 11 I took pictures last night but they won’t load. They are black and when trying to sit or send it says “ cannot load photo. There was An error loading this photo” is there anyway I can fix this or am I pretty much doomed? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
