I want to scream. My MacBook Pro won't boot up. it was working fine, I shut the top down to do some errands, came back and it won't start up. it is fully charged and the keyboard lights up but the Touch Bar isn't fully displaying and it won't boot

does anyone have any ideas about why my computer won't boot. the keyboard comes on but the touchpad modifications I made are gone. it won't respond to all the reboot suggestions I've tried so far. there isn't even a sound of the HD starting up. can't tell if it is a power issue or HD or hardware.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Press the Caps Lock key so it's LED lights up, then hold down the power button to power off the laptop. Use the Caps Lock LED to let you know when the laptop is powered off. Or you can perform an SMC Reset if you have an Intel Mac (again the Caps Lock LED will go out so that you know you were successful).
