They may not be on the “same network” if you use two SSID network names to differentiate between the 5 GHz and the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band. It is recommend to bridge both into one logical network with one SSID network name, and have the devices use whichever band they prefer.


Also try restarting all devices involved: router, Apple TV, Mac.
