Accessing USB storage connected to router

Hello

I have a USB hard drive connected to my router (Actiontec Wireless Router, Model R3000). I can access this USB storage with my Window 10 laptop by typing \\ip address\shared folder without any problems.

How can i access the USB hard drive attached to my router from a Macbook Pro 13 (mid 2012). I'm running macOS High Sierra?

Thanks

Hello

Thanks for youre reply.

I tried to connect with SMB and it promted me for my username/password. I typed the username/password of my router and this resulted in " There was a problem connecting to the server ''address of router''. The share does not exist on the server. Please check share name and try again". I tried logging in has ''Guest'' and got hte same answer. Any other trick would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for you input.
