how to back up a disabled device?

How to back up my iPhone X (on MacBookPro) when the phone is disabled and not working. Had a mishap with it and it broke up pretty bad.

Back up disabled phone My phone is disabled and my iMac I tunes is not recognizing when I plug in usb cable. Phone tells me to unlock to use accessories.
