How do I delete my voice memo's from my iphone but not from my Mac?

Nice to see the voice memo app on my Mac after updating to Catalina from an older OS. I have it synced to the voice memo on my iPhone SE.

I make a lot of voice memos which I would like to keep on my mac but delete from my iphone. As my phone and Mac are synced through icloud, when I delete them on my iphone they are also deleted on my mac.

How can I keep all my voice memos on my mac but delete them from my iphone please?

I realise I could turn off icloud sharing for the app, but my hope would be to delete them from my iPhone only, and then for any new ones to be synced with my Mac voice memo app...

It was easy to do this with itunes, but seems more difficult now.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
