I have 2 questions please help I tried to upgrade the RAM and a hard drive and it just made a beeping noise is there a process I have to do to upgrade this also I bought the computer off of eBay and the lady had administrative lock on it I did not notice so I started deleting her files and deleted some important files so how do I go about to get a operating system to download on a USB and to totally delete this hard drive

Yes, Jeanine92. I can help you. Although this is a very old MacBook. You would have to obtain a copy of snow leopard on DVD and use that to boot from. A copy can be obtained for around $39. When you have bought it, restart, holding down the C Key on the keyboard and slip the DVD into the DVD drive label side up. It should boot from that and from there you should see a number of software updates/upgrades to get it up to 10.6.8 as for the beeping noise, that might indicate that you have bad RAM sticks, see if you can get a refund on the ones you bought and replace them with Known good Mac friendly ram sticks. To find out what kind you need, go to every mac.com and type in your rough model number in this case A-1181 In the search window that is there.
