I removed an app from my home screen, but now I can’t add it back/delete
Hi! I removed an app from my home screen, but now I can’t add it back/delete the app altogether. How do you go about this with the new iPhone/update?

Did you mean iOS version 14.4 when you mentioned "New iPhone/update"?
If you removed the app form the home screen and did not delete it then the app exists in the App Library which is the last page on the home screen when you SWIPE LEFT until you reach it. You can find the app in the App Library and then drag it back to the home screen of your choice.
If you are unable to get the delete option for apps that you are attempting to completely delete then you may have your Screen Time restrictions set to ON.
Open Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ iTunes & App Store Purchases ➔ Deleting Apps : Set this to ALLOW.
