for calls - yes, w/o problems.

but iMessages and facetime are "linked" to number, you'll probably need this: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201349 if you plan to use them

yes, std SMS work with SIM w/o additional services from Apple, the same as regular voice calls

SMS and calls will use the number of the Sim you have installed at the time.
