Live Photo set as Lock Screen wallpaper

I’m trying to set a Live Photo I took on FaceTime as my wallpaper (making sure to set it as a Live Photo) and when I preview it, it works. Once set though, and I hard press it, it goes black. I have an Iphone12 and I am unsure of why my Live Photo goes black when I hard press it AFTER I set it as my Lock Screen. Anyone else? Any suggestions? Thank you.
