I was given this iPad mini as a gift but apparently, its apple id is still linked to the device and she doesn't remember the password of her iCloud. She doesn't have any apple gadget that can remove the device and she doesn't have access to her recovery email address as well as answering the security questions that apple asked which she now forgot about. Please help, I can't use this iPad and I don't know what else to do.

If she is the original owner, have her contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID if provided the required paperwork. Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)
