Just received our new Apple TV 4k (plastic and all). Plugged in to tv, and it said it was configuring for "Washington County Public Schools.". It is now only displaying an option to connect to airplay. Have tried unplugging. Have tried resetting via the remote. Cannot get to any sort of menu. TV tells us to contact "LMS or Help Desk" for assistance. Any idea how I can get this thing to reset so I can get to an actual menu?
Didn’t even have the chance to follow those instructions. Finally figured out—after talking with Apple support—that I was shipped a refurbished Apple TV (from Costco) by mistake. I had to return the whole device because it was 100% locked by administrators from performing any functions besides airplay.

I'm having this exact problem after buying a "new" Apple Tv through Costco. Did Apple take the return, or did you have to return it to Costco?
