I have an IPhone 7plus, it is in perfectly good working order and has nothing wrong with it apart from the fact that the screen has slight damage where it’s pulling away underneath. You can’t feel any damage on screen and it doesn’t effect the main screen at all, it’s just the aesthetic of the phone isn’t 10/10. I wanted to trade my phone into Apple when buying a new one but I wasn’t sure how much it would be worth?

If the screen is pulling away, the battery has likely swelled. You really should stop using the phone if this is the case. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. They'll also be able to tell you if there is any trade value at that time.
