2 very annoying bugs that aren’t getting noticed

So I’m having 2 bugs that just bother the heck out of me. I’m currently using an iPhone 12 Pro. My last phone was an iPhone 7 and 1 of the 2 bugs started on that phone.

1) when I’m using an app in landscape mode and I get a text, I’ll tap on the banner to enter the message app to reply and the message just won’t reorient itself. To fix it, I have to close out the app and relaunch it in order to send a text. It’s quite annoying and time consuming.

2) when I get a text, I like double tapping or holding the text bubble to do a quick reply. This works perfectly fine in the message app, but when I pull down the banner to reply from the banner, it doesn’t work at all. This has been happening since around mid IOS 12. A fix on these would be greatly appreciated.

NOTE: my wife has an iPhone 12 Pro as well and has these same issues. I’ve talked to a few people who also deal with this on their iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone X.
