Downtime and other screen time features keep disabling themselves

The last two or so versions of iOS have had a myriad of problems retaining my settings on my kids phones. I will set them, go out of screen time, go back in and they are off again. It is very broken. We have tried everything to get it working again. Ideas?

Screen time - apps are remain restricted outside of downtime Screen time is not working properly for me. I have set downtime with app restrictions only to be in place evenings until morning (iOS and macOS). Often, on my iPhone, when I wake up the downtime app restrictions are still there (for all apps, and I haven’t made special restrictions to any but two apps). To “cle ar” this issue manually, I can power cycle my phone, but it’s very annoying to do this every morning. Have tried to toggle downtime on and off, no result. iPhone 12, iOS 14.4.1

Screen time not working on daughter's phone My daughters iPhone is connected via Family with mine. I've setup screen time in order to prevent the use of the phone for more than 2,5 hours per day, but these settings are not respected and she is able to use the phone and the apps she likes all day. Only the downtime setting seems to be working fine. Detailed settings: How can I make this work so the device is actually doing what the UI is suggesting?

You may --> Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod ...

Yes.... thanks. I know all of this. It won't help because screen time is fully broken for my family.
