The old model of the minimac was normally compatible with an asus monitor with a frequency of 76 Hz. The new minimak does not work with this monitor, there is no image. The characteristics of the minimak 2020 indicate a frequency of 60 Hz. Need to buy a new monitor?

The first, and most obvious, step is to be sure that the monitor is set to the correct input port. The cable could be plugged into HDMI 1 and the input be set to HDMI 2, etc. After that, work through the monitor's on screen menus to see if there is a setting that needs to be changed. I would think that the monitor should be capable of adapting to the more common 60hz frequency, and work just fine.

Yeah' try a USB-C to DVI adapter with that monitor.
Or optionally, try an HDMI TV or HDMI monitor on the Mac Mini's HDMI port.
You should be able to use Apples HDMI to DVI adapter.

the monitor connection on the old minimac model was through a port DVI (adapter DVI - HDMI ), it was also used to connect to the new minimac - there is no signal on the monitor
