2014 Mac mini HDMI Support

Looking at purchasing a late 2014 Mac mini at OWC and I'm exploring monitors.

The monitor that is looking promising in its specification has this information: HDMI Input Signal Support 1920 x 1080 @ 75Hz, 1080/60p, 1080/60i, 720p, 480p, 480i

The Mac mini HDMI video output states: Support for 1080p resolution at up to 60Hz

  1. Will this monitor work?
  2. If not, what should I be looking at?

Yes, the 1080/60p and 1080/60i specs indicate the 1080p(rogressive) at 60Hz or 1080i(nterlaced) at 60Hz.

If you really must have an image refreshed 60 times a second.

If you can live with 24hz, the Mac mini can go up to 4K resolution over HDMI.
