2012 MBP Samsung SSD hdd missing 2 screws

Owner bought this SSD drive but it's missing the 2 screws therefore won't fit securely under the black clip on the logic board. Micro Center Support said those screws would need to be purchase separately? I am trying to remove the 2 screws on the existing laptop hdd to see if I can use them on the SSD but they are not Philips I think?

The screws on the hard drive will work for your SSD. The screws in the Amazon link look like the correct ones as well.

The screws use a T6 Torx so you need a T6 Torx screw driver. Or possibly a T8 Torx driver. Apple has used both.

I believe they are T6 Torx screws. If you are installing an SSD, then you can probably get by using just two screws. Just put them on diagonal opposite positions. If you are going to install a hard drive, then definitely use four screws so the drive is firmly secured since a hard drive has high speed moving parts inside that can be damaged by an improperly secured drive. An SSD has no moving parts so two screws in diagonal positions is sufficient.
