Hardrive Bracket Philips 00 screw damaged in my Macbook 2008 late edition.

I was replacing my HDD with SSD and in the process I have damaged my PHILIPS 00 screw used for harddrive bracket. As my model is macbook 2008 late ( old), apple store and Apple support chat have said that it is difficult to get it. Can anyone help me to find just one simple Philips 00 screw. Do Later models of macbook use this screw ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

How is the screw damaged? If it is the phillips screw head, then maybe grind a slot into it to use a flat blade driver. Sometimes just using a different type of driver can allow you to use a rounded phillips screw head (try a flat blade, or even a torx, or different size phillips). If you try to look for another screw, keep in mind the threads are most likely metric.

How about using a bit of foam to put between the SSD and the Bottom Case or Battery Cover? Since you are using an SSD the only concern would be the loosening of the cable from the SSD from lateral movement.
