I use the m1 MacBook Air with the latest big Sur update.
The Touch ID is not working on restart, it just works fine when you log out or when the system runs into sleep but when it needs to start up it is not asking for Touch ID instead it is asking for password.
so, if there is any option to enable Touch ID on restart please let me know !

I'm new to this apple ecosystem and didn't knew anything so I was concerned about the touch I'd.
Turns out that it's mandatory to use password when ever you turn your system on !!!
