Cycling minutes not counting as excercise

When so many users have the same problem there must be something wrong with the software. I’ve been using my Apple Watch for over a month now to track different workout routines and the only one that invariably fails me is Outdoor Cycling. Which happens to be my favorite activity so it frustrates me to no end not having my exercise time correctly recorded. I go cycling for 35 minute and only counts as 15. Less than half. Thats just wrong. And yes, My pedaling goes far beyond a simple “brisk walk”. I mean my heart rate is up there, I’m breaking into copious sweat and its very disheartening to have less than my exercise time recorded. I have tried unpairing my watch and pairing it again. I have tried resetting the fitness calibration and then recalibrating by doing 20 minute walks. Is there something else I could do on my part? None of my other workout activities gives me this issue.

thanks for any advice!
