A Canon MG7520 is mentioned in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a printer supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. So, yes, this means that it should be possible to add your model as an AirPrint printer, without the need for a driver (when using a network connection).

Hope is not lost. Try these steps:
Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Select the printer > hit “-“ > hit “+” > select the printer > for “Use” use Generic Print Driver. See if this works.
