Audio is being used by another app. I can’t record memojis

Another app is using audio on Memoji and I can’t record. How dovI correct this on my IPhone 11

From what we can tell, you're unable to record Memoji in Messages on your iPhone because an alert appears indicating another app is using audio. We're glad you've connected with us in Apple Support Communities, and we can provide some guidance. 


If any apps you have open in the background have any audio content, they could be contributing to this behavior. Let's start by closing all your apps, including Messages, then relaunch Messages and try recording your Memoji again. The links below should help:
