This looks a perfect monitor for me but how are people managing connection with a Mac mini M1?
I am about to change from my iMac 2013 27" and this looks ideal for me from a photographic standpoint ... but I read there are connectivity problems. What are your stories or solutions ?Thanks
Good point, HDMI is best for monitor connections when available as an option. So, yes.
From what I just saw on the Viewsonic spec page is that this is a
2K monitor (2560x1440) not a 4K.
Beyond that, for photography work, I would suggest a display
that is 30 bit color and not just 24 bit.
Actually I think my problem is that I have had an all in one ... From a Peformer to an original iMac to an emac to a 24" IMAC THEN a 27"iMac. I have never had to think
about a separate screen. I think I may have misconstrued the usb ... as I was thinking this was the best way to attach the monitor. AS i don't have a laptop ... is the best thing to attach monitor via HDMI and save the usb c for time machine and other back ups for fast transmission?
