I would like to buy the corresponding adapter for the Iphone 12 pro max, I live in Argentina and the sockets are different there, they use plug type CI, that is the plug which has 2 flat pins in a triangular. I would like to know if I can order that plug instead of the American one.

Hey Jordy,
The 20W Adapter is definitely your best bet, usually I would just visit a apple store or in the apple store app and see the results given there as its usually region specific products, I am not sure specifically what the pins look like so unfortunately cant help you. I Did look and cant find any results for a Argentina based plug but someone else native might be able to help you better, you can always use third party plugs also I would personally try Amazon.
