Hi - really stuck. Upgraded to Mac mini M1 and cannot export my Final Cut movie all of a sudden and it just takes days and days of rendering a movie that is less than 30 seconds.
The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.)
That is the error I get .
What do I do? Help please!

Start by deleting preferences.
To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences.
The application will start in a default state, and open an "Untitled" library. Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.
If the problem persists, please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.

This is difficult. First, switch off background rendering in FCP preferences. Select the library and use File>Delete Generated library files. Don't re-render before you export.
Reboot the computer and reinstall the application. Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch FCP to reset the preferences.
How big is your system drive, and how much free space does it have? Where is the library and media stored? How is the drive connected and formatted?
Let's start from there.
What's the media and what are doing to it? Anything complicated?
Trying right now what you suggested. Using FCPro 10.5.1
It is 3 PNG files that are little balls layered on top of a flat map. See attached.
There are a bunch of layers - maybe too many? See so small though I had hoped it would be ok?

That's really not that hard. Any base system shouldn't have a problem with that, unless the graphics are overwhelmed. You don't have an 80" screen attached, do you?
How many layers are there?
