List view for Albums and Recently Added

Did this ever get straightened out?

Would love to be able to access List View for Albums. Sounds like, from this discussion a few years back, Apple actually removed that functionality.

Dave,

i can't speculate on the future, but based on trends of the last several years, it sure looks like List view (a/k/a View > As Songs) is getting gradually de-emphasized.

If you select Albums in the sidebar, there is no option for List view.

But if you pick Songs in the sidebar, you can then sort by Album (or Album by Artist), which at least keeps the albums together.

Thanks. Is there any talk at Apple in improving functionality in future versions?
