How can I display albums in list view?

In Music on MacOS, how can I view Albums in a list view under the Albums or Genres categories?

At present:

  • the album view is a fixed size grid that only shows 4 rows of 6 albums at a time
  • the genre view, once you've selected a genre, shows the album artwork with all tracks listed, so effectively one album fills a screen (or sometimes more than a screen

I tried View > Show View Options, but this only seems to duplicate the exact same options as View > Sort Albums By.

Am I missing something?

Mac mini 2018 or later

The Songs view is the list view. You can use the column browser or View > Show Filter Field, if you want to narrow down what is displayed.
