The first time Apple's customer service have failed me in all these years, what to do?
I've been a passionate Apple user & stock holder since I can remember. I've recently been trying to resolve an issue. I purchased an iPhone 11 Pro Max in the UK before moving to Dubai around 2 years ago and was promised that the upgrade programme was available in the UAE, I didn't check this as this is what I was told in-store at the time of purchase. I'm currently stuck in the UAE with little to no chance of returning in the next few months.
I've been dying to get my hands on the latest iPhone 12 since its release and have contacted Apple about this matter over 6 times, with the promise of a callback from the UK team to try and resolve this. I'm happy to continue paying for the service, all I'm trying to do is upgrade the phone for the cost in the contract in another country.
For such a large, global operation it's a shame none of the operations are set up for global disasters (except the phone line of course). It's a shame its had to come to this for somebody that is so embedded in Apple's products & company.
