Screen Time Filled with Individual Website Activity

In checking Screen Time on any device recently, this issue seems to emerge on occasion for a day or so. What seems to happen is that the computer (this device) thinks it has a certain website open 24 hours a day (it doesn't, in fact, the computer is definitely not even on for that time). See screenshot for a sample. Sure, at some point, I went to that site, but probably for a few minutes a day or so before, definitely not 100% of the night. Other sites show up and I don't have them in my Safari history at all.

Are there any known issues with Screen Time on Big Sur to cause this, or should I just take Screen Time with a grain of salt until whatever it is gets resolved?

Hey there umparrothead,

We understand the Screen Time usage break down is not accurate on your Mac. Specifically, there is one side that shows as being used even when your Mac is off. We'll be happy to help.

To begin, we'd recommend double-checking your settings and configuration for Screen Time just to make sure nothing wrong there. Use the steps here: What is Screen Time on Mac?

Additionally, since this is happening with one website, let's remove the cached data for that page in Safari. Use the steps here: If Safari can't open the page because too many redirects occurred

Although the steps in that link are for a different issue, they will still guide you in clearing the cache for that page.
