Apple refused to fix a manufacturing problem

Apple Watch series 3, screen cracked all the way around the edge.

It is an identified issue with this watch that the screen cracks around the edge. However only certain dates of when this watch was purchased qualify. So even though my watch has this exact issue, apple will not fix my watch. This is absolutely ridiculous as apple have recognised this as being a manufacturer fault yet they refuse to fix or replace a faulty product due to the date purchased.

I am extremely angry and disappointed. My watch is only 10 months old and has this fault and apply refuse to fix it simply due to the date it was bought. This is ridiculous. If apple recognise a reoccurring problem with their product which is of no fault of the customer they should do everything in their power to fix this after charging such high prices for their products

What should I do?

The info about this issue shows very specific timeframe for eligible devices (https://support.apple.com/screen-replacement-program-apple-watch-series-2-3 ) but if you feel like yours should still qualify escalate the issue. Did you buy it from Apple directly or one of their authorized retail partners? If after escalating you still can’t get anywhere or a clear explanation as to why yours still doesn’t qualify then depending on your region you may other consumer rights. You’d have to check into those.
