Immediate downtime

I have set up downtime and daily limits in Screen Time for my children. But there are times when I would like to turn on downtime immediately for a short period. Is there a switch that allows immediate application of downtime settings, and which can then be released. The only approach I see is to go into each child's dowtime setting for the relevant day and change them to the currrent time.

A "Disable" and "Enable" switch would be really helpful for periods where they need a quick, short break from their phones to focus on something else !!

Yes, that's correct. You do need to set a schedule for Downtime, or set it for specific times.

Hi there, yes I'd like to enable Downtime manually without having to adjust the schedule. I've looked at the link you sent me above but I can't find anything about manual enablement - the only way seems to be to adjust the programmed schedule. Is that correct?
