Why is there no calculator app on IPad?

The calculator swipe down on my iPhone gets used every day, thank you for that. Why not include this very useful feature on the iPad Air? I swipe down from the corner all the time forgetting that y’all just left it out.? There is no good reason why. I DO NOT wish to download third party software for basic utilities like this. They have ads, cost money, and either way; WONT be available in the swipe down menu. Why do I I even have to be here asking this right now?? I should be out in the world having fun and working on projects and CALCULATING on my $800 iPad without third party software, or having to even worry about it, it should be right there like the alarm/camera/etc. Why has this not been addressed, it was first asked in 2014.

Apple never developed or designed an acceptable and unique calculator app for iPad.

And, for the past 10 years, now, since, there is a whole third party, iOS App Store marketplace/cottage industry for a plethora of exceptional iPad calculator apps, now, a native iOS calculator for iPad is now not even being considered, any longer, by Apple.

Apple had an opportunity to create a unique iPad calculator app for iPad with the totally redesigned iPadOS, but Apple, once again, squandered this perfect opportunity.

forum, you are not addressing apple here just fellow users

so all you can get is guess work

there has never been a calculator app on ipads nor another range of iphone apps

there are app store alternatives which in the eyes of most work perfectly well

you can use their feedback channel to complain Product Feedback - Apple

Whilst others have already offered comments as to absence of a native Calculator, here is one of the high-quality third-party Calculator Apps designed for iPad - that is both entirely free of charge - and has no Advertisements!

Most, but not all, pay calculator cost a one time fee of between $0.99 to $2.99 to get rid of the ads.

You mean to tell me you can't cough up a couple of bucks to pay a developer of a calculator app for their work?

Awesome effort finding this calculator app.

There are just too many third party calculator apps to go through, in the iOS App Store, to try and isolate a very good and totally free ( ad free ) third party calculator app.

I stopped trying years ago and just paid for two very good calculator apps.

They were a few dollars each. Had them for about 6 years now.

I am now adding this totally free one to my iOS calculator collection,

A very nice, free calculator app for iPads.
