In-app streams does not work after updating to iOS 14.4

After updating my iphone to iOS14.4, I cannot stream with Netflix or Youtube apps. The device is not visible after the update. It was possible before the update.

Hello Beril12,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand you'd like to stream Netflix or YouTube with your iPhone. We'll be glad to assist.

Please try the steps in the below articles:

If AirPlay or screen mirroring isn’t working on your device

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

If you need more help, try these steps with Netflix and Youtube apps: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

Cheers!

Updated my iPhone 6S to iOS 14.4. Since then, videos in Twitter have a grey turning cycle and cant be played.

Audio Streams in german public radio App "ARD Audiothek" seem to start, no error messages, but there is no sound. I tried the usual stuff, trying to stream different radio stations within the App, stoping and starting the App, resetting all App Settings, removing the App and reinstalling.

After finding out, that there are streaming issues with several Apps, I tried Youtube. It behaves weird too. The controller reacts and switches between play and pause, but the time counter is not running, there is not sound and no motion. However, you can scroll to a different position and see stills changing. Starting the stream a different position is the same es before. The controller toggles status, but no sound and no motion.

The same with WhatsApp. Audio Messages are stuck at 0:00. The controller toggles between play and pause, but no sound. These are no streams I guess, but downloaded media available locally on the phone. The same with older videos in the Media section of the chat.

Now checking all general settings, not those specific to the Apps mentioned. I dont see any restriction.

Now trying the opposite. Is there any problem with the speakers at all? No, there isn't. E.g. in iTunes Store, I can hear samples, in Music I can see videos.

Its annoying. Spent much time by now. Pls help.
