When using SideCar on your iPad connected to your MacBook, the Apple Pencil should work with ALL of your Mac apps.

Should work with Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, AutoDesk SketchBook, ArtRage, Pixelmator/Pixelmator Pro.

The Apple Pencil should just work like a mouse or trackpad, when using the iPadOS/macOS Sidecar feature.
