How to I fix my jailbroken iPad that can’t be backed up?

Hello so my iPad was stolen. Ignoring the cracks in the screen, dead camera, scratches on the back and the fact that it now smells like weed, the iPad seems to be jailbroken. I used to jailbreak my Apple device s before I got an Apple Developer Account and I would back up my iPad in iTunes and then reset it to remove the jailbreak. However now iTunes won’t let me back it up. What do I do to fix my iPad?

Cant help you with backing up a jailbroken phone.

But you should try to do a clean install and see if that solves it:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

if that does not work, try setting it in recovery mode:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

Before you do that try and sync all you can sync with iCloud, or get your data off in other ways.

Good luck!
