Connecting a powered monitor

Hey! I bought a monitor that can charge a laptop. https://www.lg.com/ru/monitors/lg-27UL850-W

But the power of the laptop's power supply is 96W, and the monitor is only 60W.

Can I use both Thunderbolt wires (own power and power from the monitor)? How to properly supply power to a laptop?

Thank!

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.2

If you connect >1 power source, your Mac will select and use only the most appropriate one (in your case, the power adapter). USB-PD protocol requires the computer/device to 'ask' for power from the source, so your Mac will just ignore the display if your 16" MBPs adapter is connected to another port.
