Mail sorting
where did the sorting emails by date, sender etc disappear to in the latest update?

A lot of people have complained about this. Currently, to sort you go to the View->Sort By menu.
You should use feedback to join the chorus asking for the return of the ability to sort from the toolbar.
In the meantime: if you can use Column Layout, you can sort by any column merely by clicking the header of that column; click again to reverse.
If you don't like Column Layout, you can still sort more quickly than View->Sort By, if you add a keyboard shortcut for "Date", "From", etc. in System Preferences->Keyboard->Shortcuts.
Here's hoping the feature returns in a future update.
