Iphone 12 Mini sending multiple texts

I sent a text message to friend who told me she got it four times. Switched phone off and back on - friend still got four texts. Sent to husband - he got four texts, he switched off and back on and still gets four texts. My facebook seems to have been hacked as I received a video and then it sent to all my contacts. I've deleted it from my phone and changed password. Not sure if these things are connected.

PS There was not an iphone 12 in your list, you need to update it!
