Disable automatic "mark as read" when previewing email messages. I really want to use Mail but just this one feature...just this one...is making be go back to Outlook for Mac.
C'mon Apple, please change and you will win back many supporters to Mail.

There is the functionality within Apple Mail on the email message to swipe Right to mark as Unread or Swipe Left to Delete using the Apple Magic Mouse - so although the email was read it can be immediately marked as Unread. Sort of like but not totally as one is hoping for.
WE are only floor Apple Users and Not Apple Corp. So best cause of action would to send Feedback to Apple
