Streaming iTunes over the Internet

I have about 60,000 songs in my iTunes library, and I mostly listen to smart playlists based at least in part on play count and last played date. There's an app called Audiotap that used to be able to stream iTunes playlists over the Internet or cell service at home and on my iPhone, and would update track play count and played date in iTunes. I loved the ability to listen to my playlists while driving, at work, or on vacation, and finding that my smart playlists were updated when I got back home. However, Audiotap was last update in 2012, is no longer supported, no longer streams remotely and is incompatible with newer versions of iOs (still works on my Mac, though).

Are there any apps (iOs or MacOs) that will stream iTunes playlists remotely, and will update play information? I tried iTunes Match, and it messed up a bunch of my tracks - had to quit after about a month. I tried JRiver Media Center a few years ago, but there were lengthy pauses between each track. Plex won't incorporate my iTunes playlists.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

On several tracks, it altered metadata such as year and album for tracks for which there were multiple possibilities (e.g., original album, greatest hits, remastered album). Also, if I ripped an album and created a playlist from the album, and some of the new tracks had corresponding tracks in my library already, iTunes would put the old version of the track in the new playlist rather than the new one. And I couldn't swap the new one in.
