Purchases from iTunes store

I may be late to an apparent change in the iTunes store but when I go to purchase an album I get a ad to sign up for a subscription to Apple music for $9.99/month after a 3 month free trial. There does not appear to be a way to avoid the ad and therefore I can't purchase the music I want. I buy what I want when I want it and I do not purchase any subscriptions. Does this mean I will no longer be able to purchase music at the iTunes store?

Thanks, Dennis

You can still purchase music without subscribing to Apple Music. See information in: Buy music from the iTunes Store - Apple Support
